sixteenth prophecy
Hellow people,
So i have started construction on the next table for the WTC Warmachine. My next table is going to be a construction site of a cathedral dedicated to Menoth.
The idea is that you fight your battle between the unfinished cathedral, At your flanks you would have the unfinised towers, with crane's and some gauntrie's (no idea if its a real word but google translate told me to use it). At the other side you would have the altar with the choir (don't know if they use this word for it in English once again blame google translate) and in the middel section where you would be playing you would have some unfinished walls and pillars, some gauntrie's and building matirials.
here are some sketches i made to give me some direction at how i wanted to get it build.
Now to get the cathedral itself build i needed a quick way of making lots of stones. insulation foam was an option but it would take a long time to cut and i find it hard to work very precise with it. I had worked with hirst art moulds in the past but knew that if i was going to make this building out of it it was going to take ages. so i took some cheap fake lego's i got from my grandfather about 15 year ago and used a hobby hand drill to rought them up. then i made some mold's out of them and started casting.
here are some of the lego's i used to make the mould.
And here are some peaces once cast.

and here is what i casted this weekend.
construction is wel on its way, in hind sight i don't think i saved much time, it still takes a lot of time to cast all of the peaces. the end result isn't 100% what i hoped it would be but it will have to do. i started construction on the first tower and man is going to be heavy!

fifteenth prophecy
Hellow everybody,
so i have been working hard on getting all the stuff together for my Menite cathedral, and to be honest i was a bit burned out this weekend from all the casting and building. so i dissided to do some painting in staid.
So i started this friday with painting the last models for my tier 4 magnus list.
here is Gorman di Wolfe and Orin Midwinter
And here is Saxon Orrik
Then sunday i went into a painting frenzy and painted this little guy, the base is not done yet but im really proud of the model it self and could not wait to share it with you guys.

Then saturday i finished some models i have been painting for a while now. I finished my first raging wolves counts as uhlan cavalry dude. I also finished Drake MacBain, who i am painting u a new army for. This will be my pirate teamed army. I think MacBain should be fun with them sins he can protect the key solo's very well with his feat.
Then sunday i went into a painting frenzy and painted this little guy, the base is not done yet but im really proud of the model it self and could not wait to share it with you guys.
I also painted The Herald of Vulcanis and the Succubus Vandella for super dungeon explore. I got these figures for my birthday and just couldn't resist painting them.
Here is also a small preview of the WIP for the cathedral.

The Second Slice:
Hey I'm posting this a week later then planned, not because the models I wanted to have finished weren't but because I had no time.
Now they have also been varnished and some extra models have been aded.
A Cygnar Gunmage blaizer
All of the Tempest blaizers together positioned in different angels
They came out nice and the picture don't fully do justice, but it's the best I can do with my camera.
It has been a long time since I have had so little time between buying a model and painting it.
Cygnar tempest gunmages
To be honest this unit was only waiting final touches and a layer of varnish, it still took me a whole evening to get them in perfect order.
The same gunmages -1 but facing the same direction.
And these are some solo's who were in various stages of painting and who I finally finished up.
From left to right: Dirty Meg (Merc mecanic), Harlan Versh (Merc Witch Hunter), Dougal McNaile (Merc Gunnery Master), Squire (Cygnar caster aid) and Shylis Wysnallyrsomething (Merc caster aid)
All of these can be used in cygnar and Highborn themed lists, Harlan Versh can also be used in Morrow themed lists.
And these have been waiting for the finishing touch for over a year.
I lost them when we were moving into our house :)
But now the are ready to kick Jerry's arse, but boy will they be surprised when they find out that I have been collecting A Grenadierkompnie since february.
What's next?
Well if you look good you'll see 10 Rifleman standing primed and ready to be painted on the back of all the pictures and so they will ;)
They are part of my Highborn Naval Academy list and will be wearing royal blue uniforms.
No date on when they will be done dôh, I have alot of other things to do the comming weeks.
I hope a week or three will suffice.
T'ill next time!!
